I am running a 2144 and use large wire concaves. the 2nd and 3rd concaves have every other wire removed. I also use the keystock grates. I have two sets(3 each) or straight bars over the grates. You might want to check to see that the rotor cage vanes are set in the most retarded or slowest position only over the grate areas. I usually have no trouble with rotor loss with these settings.
