Thanks for thinking of us. We were very lucky and totaly missed it by only about 10 miles. A friend in leRoy still has over 150 acres of kidney beans out as well as soys and corn, they had 6" of snow and were on the edge of the storm. North and west of Batavia it was very wet before the snow. Now I assume that it will be so wet that most of the crops will have to wait for a good freeze. Talked to a guy from Albion, just north of Batavia, and he still had 900 acres of soys and only 40 out of 600 of wheat drilled before the snow. He said it was so wet he couldn't combine even with tracks. My aunt who lives just out side of Buffalo was told she won't have power for several days and most of the trees on her street are down. If this had happened a few weeks later it wouldn't have been a big deal, but we haven't even had a good frost yet here and the trees are just starting to drop there leaves. That's the report from here Marc
