If the problem is near the divider, look underneith each divider for a triangle shaped piece of metal held on with two screws. If it is installed correctly, the beans will be guided into the cutting portion of the last guard. Otherwise, they will kind of get caught behind the divider and not get cut off, then bunch up. Probably just a matter of flipping that piece of metal over so that it sticks further towards the center of the header. I think they sometimes get installed upside down.

I was having trouble with stems catching in the open area at the end of the sickle. If this is the same problem you are having, check with your dealer. There's a finger kit that attaches the divider. The new heads come them installed so if you can look a one you'll see how they install. However, you don't need the whole kit (3 on each side). I only installed one at the bottom of the divider. The beans feed with plugging.
