How do you level the headerIJ I understand the part of getting the combine on a flat level surface but how do get the header levelIJ Do you use shims - don't remember any adjustments.

You could adjust the front tire pressure a little to get the head level in a pinch.

The adjustment is at the rear of the throat where it pivots. There will be two or four bolts to loosen and the bolt coming from the bottom to raise or lower it. You will either have to take the head off or let the low side down on a block to take the weight off. This info can also be found in your owners manual.

I love it when complaint is one side won't feed for that is allways a leveling problem. If you have new enough R50 where there is no hydralic tank ect. on right hand side of header you may want to add weights if not there allready. Even if hydralic tank is out there you may want to add weight to balance head properly on feeder. Head will hook up better and you may not need to tilt feeder if head is balanced. You will likely need fast feeder speed for soybeans (which is larger front pulley). Whether you have older or newer reel hydralic system I think you should have no trouble getting reel faster. I assume reel does slow up fine with controls. Check to see someone hasn't installed wrong sprocket or orbit motor.
