I am running my 1988 7720 II at 500 rpm, JD 224 w_ Crary Air Finger Reel, Wind at 800, Air Foil Chaffer. Only problem I have with throwing beans is over the walkers but only happens when I push it too hard. How much is coming back through the returnIJ Is the cylinder breaking up everything too much and overloading the chafferIJ Duane

there is some beans coming in threw the return but i dont think is is that much because it is shelling them out very nice so i opened the bottom sieve up almost all the way to try an help the problem there is alot of chaff coming over the chaffer but i tried higher wind speed and is seems to make it worse. I live in south dakota and our beans arnt very good because we were very dry they are this field i at is one of my better it going around 30 bushels or so

What is your engine rpmIJ It should be between 2350-2400 with seperator engaged running empty. We had the same problem this fall on our 88 titanII, found that our engine rpm was to slow. We were running at 2150, like a JD tractor and we figured that was the right rpm for a combine. We had to have a service tech out to tell us our engine rpm was to slow. All better now. Hope this works.
