yes i saw her come down the line sat in the cab before it was attached. should be delivered in the next 10 days. I am more impressed by it now than I was when I bought it. I have a lot of pictures but not quite sure where to post them. going to run a 2412 30" head a a 36' crary airhead. Shes all decked out with all the toys, including extended wear parts so hopefully I won't have to rebuild it evey year. would like to hear from anybody else expecting a new delivery. and the best thing they took off that POS ladder and put one off a 2388 on it!!

What size rubber, front and rearIJ Are you replacing a 2388 with the 8010IJ ifso, what size heads were you pushing with itIJ While you were in the 'delivery room', did you see anything different coming down the lineIJ Best of luck with the fall harvest.

yes I had a 2388 ran her 2500 engine hrs had a 2212 head on it at the end and a 30' 1020 put in a new rotor drive and AFX rotor in 2003 but she was tired and you can only fix so much, when you run a lot of hours. 20.8 42 duals and some big metrics on the back. no AWD I had my 2388 turned up red hot probly 325+ was not much would slow her down. except cleaning cap. I probly have 10,000 hrs.+ in an axial flow combine sense 1980, if the AFX8010 is not a good one I'll tell you. they where making yellow combines as well but where just starting to shell out a bunch of 8010's 10 per day about 50 on the line at one time. mostly on time assembly in GI. parts showing up from everywhere. they had a 2388 that they had torn apart 4 times to see how to make 77's and 88's their. the GI machines will be a little different in that they will be painted before assembly. we will finally have a nice paint job on a caseih combine. I was in claas plant in germany in 2003 they do the same on painting. even the same system. let me know if theirs any more questions. I'll email the plant picts to you if you would like them.
