I've put Bish adapters on two JD row crop heads for my l and M. I got mine used, but new ones run around $1000 without the drives, or over $1200 with u-joint drives (prices are several years old, so may now be higher). Mine didn't have the drives, so we simply made brackets to move the drive shaft on the header down and back to match the combine drive shaft, lengthened the drive chains on the header to allow for the drive shaft being back, and built a hex-to-spline adaptor for the drive shafts. For the second head, we used a double-chain connector, like JD used to use, as it is cheaper and allows for a little flex if everything is not perfectly lined up. Adding an extra hex bearing in the middle of the header drive shaft will help take out the wobble. No modifications need to be made to the combine, and if you ever want to put the head back onto a Deere, just remove the head adapter, remove the drive shaft brackets, and shorten the drive chain. I would suspect that the F2 adapter would be slightly cheaper than the l_M adapter, but this should be a place to start.
