Combines Bish adapter for model m combine

We have several of those adapters for our l3's The one you have should work for both grain and corn heads. We use ours to mount JD 653A all crop heads on our l's. As far as the shaft lengths we cut the JD shafts about 1 1_2 foot from the brg mount add another brg. 2" from the cut end and mount a PTO shaft to the end. This is easy to do since the drive on the combine is the same as 1000 PTO tractor splines.

Hellandharvester, Thanks for your reply.I looked at my adapter and noticed that the bottom is 4 inches wider on bottom than on top so it appears that it would tilt the head back some.I will need to look at a jd head sometime to figure out the shafts. I am hoping my black head holds up for what I do. Thanks
