Combines Bits of cob in corn sample

West illini, I can't believe that your not having all kinds of rotor loss cutting 225 bpa corn with the small wire concaves. Cutting corn with the small wire concaves is just as bad as cutting wheat with the large wire concaves. Get some large wire concaves, pull every other wire in all three, set the concaves at about three, the fan speed at 1080 and you will get a perfect sample. If you don't want to spend the money for the correct set up don't complain about a few small bits of cob in the sample. K.A.

Nope. I cannot find any loss out the back. The only few kernals I can find on the ground happended at the head. My large wires are too well rounded to do a good job in beans (will have a new set next year). We have been switching back and forth nearly every other day. I am not getting discounted any. Just don't like to see the bits on wagon. I will bump up the fan speed a bit. I thought about setting the vanes in advanced (set at center now) to get the cobs out quicker. I have never been in corn like this before. The monitor has been over 240 a few times.
