Combines Black cornheads early vs stripeIJIJ

I have one each way. The spirals are much more aggresive. I did price changing older head over to spirals. Can't remember price but did not do it.

Dad has one in central Iowa that he may seperate from the l2 he is going to sell. It is a very good 1985 model. Also another change on the later heads is a much longer snout which makes for a much flatter angle. let me know if you are interested and I will get a definite price from dad. I'm guessing he will be between $5000 to $6000 but i'm not sure. kirk kbwelton@adiis.net

I checked prices on the spirals when at the local dealer this week. New cost:$63.84 each x 2 per row x 6 rows = $766.08. Then there is all the labor of driving out the pins and taking off the carrier bearings to put the spirals on! From my checking so far the premium of a stripe head over a block decal one in the same basic condition is in the $800-$1200 range, so it may be worth only looking for stripe heads!
