Combines bought a demo 9690

Shows how dedicated those green boys are if they were impressed with the Massey and didn't get one. Even when one said your sample was better then the Deere that guy was running. Allen we demoed a 9790, which has a larger shoe and more power, all I can say about it was positive things. Im know the 9690 has the same shoe as your 8780 so I think it would be comparable as far as capacity, although you should have a few more ponies with the new machine. Also they redesigned the rotor bars so this should give you more capacity also. Keep us posted on how things go with your new machine, but Im sure you will like it. The fieldstar is nice and the new cab, well its just fabulous.

The shoe on the 9690 is the same, but they changed the motion of it so that it is more efficient, and put the turbine style fan in it which provides more even air flow through the shoe. The result is more cleaning capacity to go along with the increased capacity of the rotor. About Fieldstar: It is a very user friendly system, and should come with a GPS receiver. Also, a new yeild sensor has been introduced for 2004, and I believe there will be some sort of campaign to update the 2003 models at little or no cost. The new sensor reduces slope sensitivity by 88% and is temperature compensated. It also has a higher resolution, so it is more accurate in lighter crop conditions. The results from testing at the University of Kentucky have been very positive.

It sounds like those green boys just don't want to learn.
