Maybe I have missed some news, but IMO just because they shuffle a few CEOs isn't reason to get nervous. They are posting profits and that's the main thing. Whether they post the same or less than Deere is a matter of opinion on stock strength. I was more concerned back in 99 when I learned about the takeover_merger and what it would do to resale. Frankly, justified or not, Case and NH stuff doesn't hold value like the Green stuff.

Were not worried one bit...... No matter what happens we sure as heck will never go to green combines or tractors I'll run 2388's untill i die and 8010's since there turning out to be a good machine. I guess john deere's stuff would go down in innovation if they lost another competitor to copy. Maybe mcormick would buy out or make 2388's and find case's plan for a bigger combine and build it....

I'm 80% sure I'll be switching colors the next time I buy a combine. I like the axial flow machines but there are no dealers locally any more. I sure won't go to green paint. I'll be looking hard at a Gleaner as they are a good machine and the Agco dealer has always treated us well. They care when I walk through the door which is more than I can say for the "green" dealerships. As in many cases, it boils down to the dealer.
