Combines Breaking dual wheel bolts

We had that same problem. Didn't know we had the problem until one fell out and then found 2 or 3 more that were broke but were just sitting in the hole. Ended up replacing all the bolts on that side. We also had a grain tank exten. on the machine. I guess we considered ourselves lucky that nothing worse happened other than replacing bolts.

We roatate combines each year and we have problems with them comeing lose and falling out the genius's at case doesn't understand this but. Useing lubrication WD-40 or there stuff and putting the bolts back in and tightening to whatever the maual says usually works the guy we rotate with never have any problems with them falling out Just use some wd 40 now breaking-....thats a new one.. sorry i couldn't help but i just wanted to chime in

their is a silver colored bolt you can get from parts that won't break. be sure and tighten them to exact spec's! being to tight will break them every time the silver bolts are tightened to 600 ft lbs. I think alot tighter than the gold ones. my old 88 never broke one but the 8010 poped off a stud as well as 2 bolts. my .02
