Combines Breaking sections on 820 head

I've had this problem, caused by reel teeth in cutterbar. Move reel forward, and_or raise header

I assume you're talking about sickle sections. I used to have an 820 head with a pick-up reel with steel fingers. If you run your reel to low and let the fingers get in the sickle it will break them out so fast you'll think you're cutting sickles instead of beans. Set you're reel so it won't go down that low.

I have not broken a sickle section in the two years that I have run my 820 head. I use the plastic fingers which I believe makes a lot of difference.

I have just finished a season with the plastic reel fingers and didn't break a section either. With the steel fingers I have broken as many as fifteen sections out at one time, very time consuming.
