Yes I agree with you these companies need to stay with well renown brand names and not keep changing the names. I also think that they should start building the Allis 1200,1300,1350 feild cultivaters again and at least label them an Agco Allis brand if nothing else.

It would be appropriate. AC built some pretty good crawlers in years back, but also ironic to have their name on something that their one time Ag crawler competitor developed.

Vermeer probably still has the tooling laying around for the A-C field cultivators. They were the most popular brand where I live, and I know a lot of guys would buy a new one if they could get one. Around here, they just can't be found used, unless it's at a farm sale where somebody either quit or died.

The 1300 Allis feild cultivaters are popular where I live also. I think they should start building them again.

Sorry, neighbor works for Vermeer and the tooling was scraped years ago with the demise of Deutz Allis. And Vermeer is going full speed ahead with the McCormick line.

I wonder who owns the manufacturing rights to the Allis feild cultivaters.

You forgot the big brother 1400. We ofter said if every farm within a reasonable distance didn't have one it was our own fault. That maybe isn't completly true for some guys would rather wear out and replace the spring and bushing type 3 or more times more often than the old Allis. If I were a tillage manufacture I would be hot after the patent. You can't believe the wining and cring we've done to get them machines back.

The 1400 but it is a fine design just like it's smaller brothers. I would like to see them put back into production.
