The custom boy's machine is an 02. My 750 is a 00. You can get a shorter serpentine belt and still run the fan and alternator. I am glad it is getting cool here as for I am not gonna spend 500 bucks on a compressor till summer wheat! Deeres compressor company should cover the junk s.o.b.,but they won't.

Not gonna be with the JD parts bill for this harvest season. Corn next year really has us scared. Put about a 1000 acres of ammonia on. Gonna plant alot of beans. Checking on organic and some specialty crops. But fuel prices eats premiums when ya have to haul stuff twice as far. Who can I pass a surcharge onto for my costs. I was gonna try geting a surcharge from the elevator for having to haul all that grain to them. Huh, bet that will work, like an Indiana snowball on a Florida beach. Good luck

Never had a mishap except for the time I busted out a windshield in a 4400. On a 4420, jamming the feederhouse a few times, wrapping the unloading augur around a big oak tree (tree disappeared next summer),breaking off all the pegs on the horizonal augur on the grain table. It tried to eat a big branch. On a 6620, engine was running rough. I looked down on the gauges, the water temp. gauge was pegged in the red. Rotating screen got plugged on the radiator fan!
