I'm looking directly on Deere EPC (dealership electronic parts catalog),and the picture (for part nRE502190 - crankshaft and damper replacement kit) I'm seeing shows the crank, damper, bearings, damper bolt, rear seal, crank gear, and keys in a kit. With the notation "also contains gaskets, o-rings, seals and miscellaneous hardware not illustrated". I can corner one of the parts guys and find out for sure what's included if you like. And EPC doesn't even show the crank being available individually for the 6359 anymore, as all the numbers sub up to the kit.

very interesting. I am going to look into my stuff a little more and see what my problem is on this side. Sorry for any inconvenience

I'm registered, but I don't log onto the online Deere parts site much, as I have access to EPC, but it wouldn't surprise me if the site doesn't keep pace with EPC. Or it could simply be that the online site isn't giving the complete description as shown in EPC. Even when checking for a crankshaft for a regular old OEM 6359 engine (the kind Deere sells to other companies to power their products),the crank part number still subs up to that kit number. I'll grab a parts guy after lunch, but I'm pretty sure it comes as a complete kit. Probably at that fairly low price because Deere knows they screwed up, lol.

I use both the online site and EPC. I would like to hear what your parts guy says. We rebuild alot of engines and transmissions for construction equipment therefore the need for the parts books. Do you work for a dealer and if so where are you locatedIJ look forward to hearing what your cost is for the crank.

We had Mother Deere fax us a parts list of what's included in the kit. Everything I mentioned except for the damper itself is in there. More than likely because the damper is machine-specific.
