Tell me about it. I have a TR-99 too with lots of wear. I haven't looked at the auger tube you are referring to, but I have our combine apart right now replacing the bubble up auger-both sections. They are both worn out. The hard surface is ok, but the flighting in between the weld is worn completely through. The upper section is covered by warranty, but since my combine is 14 months old I don't think NH will cover it.Also I have the little plate off the side of the bubble auger to help cut down on wear. By the way the lower section of auger cost is$790 OUCH! My combine has 750 seperator hrs on it, but doesn't seem like it should be worn out. I also have holes in the bottom of thegrain tank, the unloading auger fligting is worn to a razors edge, the boot and door on the bottom of the clean grain elevator has been replaced too. The TR-99 is a tremendous combine, the best I ever had, BUT!!

Have you any ideal the total number of bu. that has gone in the grain tank and out the augerIJ My swing-a-way auger wore out in four years, I was thinking that was to soon till I totaled the bushles. Have your dealer get in touch with the company rep for NH and see if they can help you out on the auger. They have helped me in the past after the warranty was out. Tell them you are a good customer and they should be happy to keep you as such. It could work! Good luck!

as a new holland mechanic i used to work a bit on tr99. i remeber to change a bubble up auger assembly. it has a different drive (different number of gears) and the auger turns the other way. check with your dealer what kind of bubble up auger you have and if it should be changed to a differnent style.
