Do you have any idea what started the fireIJ I have a '78 750 so I'm very intrested. I have heard that the battery cable that runs under radiator can short out starting fire.
I bought this machine from a insureance company to have parts for the 750 I was runing at the time.Seems to me it started from a bad bearing behind var.speed pulley for cyl.speed but not sure.She was really dirty at the time.I no longer run a 750 so I am open to offers.
