Okay....always remember this number(43560). This is how many square feet in an acre, and is the magic number your acre counters use. So if your cutting at 4 miles_hour with a 30 ft header, you would use 4 X 5280 X 30 = 62400 sq.ft. Divide 62400 by 43560....and you get 14.54 acres _ hour. The 5280 is the feet in a mile. So lets say you do not cut full cut, and cut about 28.5 ft on average....and go about 3.8 miles_ hour. You would use 3.8 X 5280 X 28.5= 571824_43560= about 13 acres _ hour. if unloading on the go, and no empty turns.
