Combines C2 corn head wanted

If at all possible look for a black bottom head for the CII. You will save youself lots of headaches. DandD in Chilton, WI has some heads for the CII when I called them a few years back. Apperently they want to die with them cause they wanted $4500 for a black bottom 4RN. Told them the combine was't worth that much and hung up. They have a few orange heads too but you have been forwarned. We just got rid of our CII diesel with orange bottom 4RN and 13 rigid. Traded it for a working 10 HP electric motor. Jason

A fellow I know has a black one--was on a C or C2, combine burned and head is there; they can be adapted to a C with not too much work--and here in Ontario, they sell for $1500 CAN and up, but you get what you pay for. Jason is right--black's are preferred over the orange. Ben.
