OMG a 98 C62..where do I start IJ ..actually before I scare you off..how many hours are on the machine IJ I have a 98 C62 that I've owned since 1990..bought it with 600 sep hours and is now showing around 2000 on the sep, 2500 on the motor. What do you mean by an updated belt...do you mean it has better seals_flaps on the edges to keep the crap from getting into it IJ I'm on my 4th belt since I've owned the m_c..best I've gotten is 2 seasons out of it. Would be real interested in what theyve done to yours. look forward to sharing experiences with you. The combine is high maintenance but when she's working it's hard to beat from a capacity standpoint. later.

Not sure about belt around 1300 sep hrs, I personally haven't seen combine yet. On its way here, brothers bought and looked at. last owner claimed he had no problem with belt, but he put a new "updated" belt in 2 years ago, and ran one season with it. We had one out for a demo in beans and corn when they first came out. Had alot of capacity compared to the l2's we ran previous. What bar setup should we be looking into, saw a post about staggered sunnybrookIJ Will be running wheat and soybeans only.

If the cyl bars are worn it will cause lots of problems..first year I had it i had nothing but problems with backfeeding, upper feeder chains constantly jumping teeth on one sprocket and lots of broken feeder house slats. I replaced the original black bars with new chrome Agco bars and it made a tremendous difference. I also only run filler bars in corn. I know that Sunnybrook does make an enclosed cylinder for it but haven't tried it.. if it would help with walker loss I might consider it because walker loss can be a problem in certain conditions. Do you know if the upper feeder shaft has been replaced with the larger diameter one..if not I can guarantee it will break..mine let go at around 1000 hours. Do you have turret unloader or swivel IJ I have the Turret and despite hearing of lots of problems we have had no major problems with it although I plan to replace the bearings in it this spring. Where abouts are you located..I am in Ontario but I bought the combine from Mayer's in Ohio.

It has the turret unloader. Not sure about shaft, but don't think its been replaced. We are in north central Ohio. We have done alot of dealing with Mayer's. Thanks for the info, and I'm sure I will be asking more questions as we get more into the machine.
