Combines Cab fan won t shut off

If this is on a 2100 or a 2300 series combine, you are probably hearing the cab pressurizer motor. It runs constantly whenever the engine is running. It is fed 12 volts from a pressure switch on the engine which may be sticking on and causing the fan to run. It is common for it to run several seconds at shutdown, but will quit as soon as oil pressure drops close to zero.

This is on a 2388. I will check the switch. If it is not going to zero, it might not let a person know that the oil pressure is zero while it is running. Thanks.

This is only an off_on type switch. It is not the oil pressure sensor that is used for a gauge.
