run a dryer vent sized hose back to the area where the radiator gets its clean. in other words let the rotary screen preclean the air for the cab filter.

On our 2188 the air in the rad compartment is as dusty as where the cab filter. I am going to take the filter housing and mount it horizontially right above where it is on that ledge in front of the grain tank. The hose should be long enough and it is not normally very dusty there. With a speciality rotor, chopper and spreaders we create a lot of dust. We seem to take out over a pound of dust from that filter daily, very annoying. Rod

We have had lots of trouble with this on our 2166 and now 2366. Dealer says that filter can run plugged, but I know that the cab is dirtier inside than the 1600's cab. Any photo's of modifications would be appreciated.

Rod: I agree with your idea of remounting the air filter above it's present position. I have done this to a 2166 and works much better. You probably will need some more air hose though, but dealers should carry it in stock. Rusty
