When you installed the cross flow fan, did you check the distance between the blades and the cutoff point at the top of the fan throatIJ Blades need to be within about 1_4" of this or air won't be sheared properly. Too far forward, or too far down will put air toward the rear of the shoe. When you replaced the fan, did you replace the housing as wellIJ When machines first came out with these fans, the housing had a lip which threw the whole assembly too far forward and gave a tunnel effect which kept the air from flowing upward. Operators had to remove this lip and move the whole assembly toward the rear.
