Combines Can t get 9600 fan speed below 850

Well, figured it out. In order to cut alfalfa and grass seed and slow the wind speed down you have to purchase two new half sheaves that fit below on the fan. depending on serial numbers 1 is 255 dollars and the other is 225 dollars. I think from now on when I have problems I'm going to quit posting them and just goto the dealer right away. Noone ever replys on here much anymore.

I agree with you that it is difficult to get replies sometimes. I don't know if some people are shy or what. I won't generally post anything unless I have specific knowledge, because I have been told that my general information was not appreciated. I have found however that the replies that I do get are usually good. I also have not found a better site. Glad you got your problem solved.
