I don't know if you are missing anything. Which concaves do you haveIJ High wide wire or low narrow spaced wires. Have you removed any wires from either concaves or seperator grateIJ Have you tried replacing the reverse bars with half heightIJ Do you find the reverse bars rob a bunch of powerIJ If you are having good luck with the reverse bars then maybe you should leave them in if the arn't holding machine back to much. There has been many tips hear on controling rotor loss without the use of reverse bars and I was wondering if you had tried any of them. You maybe have saw where I suggested to run only one reverse bar in any one location which may give you the added seperation without power consumption. I think if you hold tight there will be more info coming that will maintain very high thru put with extremly low losses. I see you are recommended the R52. Do you need to have fuel pump fixed up or do you need to do some more HyperizingIJ

Thanks Dan! The more questions I have the more I realize what I have yet to learn! I've performed some mod's on my R42. Header shocks, extended bars, and I've tweaked with removing wires from crop to crop. I'm overall satisfied with the Gleaner; - it just seems to be a little underpowered. I'm currently running with 2 reverse bars which seems to cut capacity and chew the straw up a little too much. Yet, if I eliminate the reverse bars, the combine doesn't seem to have the adequate power to keep the cage full enough to do a decent job. I'm hoping what I say here makes some sense to you. I think more horsepower would help fix this problem!
