Check with neighbor or his dealer to see if machine has feeder shocks, third helical extended accross feeder opening, or extended cylinder bars to discharge. Them things are first things in may book to get done other than setting header for good even feed. Without them things the machine will slug and struggle early in the day or late at night or any tough conditions. Of course there are some more things to unlock the machines potential. If you can get them first three things done you will likely be very happy and willing to keep machine for its capacity. Reviewing this site you will find some more interesting things you could do over time if you keep machine. Good luck

I know nothing about a 2188 but I did hire a neighbor with a 2388 to help with last years corn crop. He ran slower than my R60 and his samples were all No 2 while mine were mostly No 1. Good luck with your beans and wheat.
