As long as you have both versions on hand, I would not be scared of trying to install personally... it will merely just give you an error. Just whatever you do, do not loose power while loading. If it takes it. When finished it well ask you to cycle to load onto hard drive. But I am not experience with Trimble either, just have past experience with other mixed brands. Probably ought to ask technical support.
