The European line is manufactured in Nuestadt, East Germany. It is owned by Case and used to be Fortschrit. The combines,CF, they make now are still very similar to the Fortschrit combines.I don't know much about them, a few years ago they were on some agricultural shows, but they never sold very well in West-Europe. From this year on CNH started manufactering the New Holland TX series in Nuestadt, with a slightly different look (only cab),in red , the CT series.

I went to the European machine search. The used C80s were listed by CIH Germany. I assume they're sold primarily in the former East Germany where they originated. Not sure I'm right on this, but it seems to me I read that before German unification, they (Forschritt combines) were favored over another Eastern Block combine by farmers in a nearby country due their durability. Also one of the used listings had additional pictures with a good side view but no diagram of the inside.
