Parts should be easy to get. Not that much difference whether its a1460 or 1660. Just take your serial number when you go for parts.Good luck.

No problem. The only problem series will likly be the 20's. 40's 60's and 80's still run factory.

Parts are readily available, but require your attention. I Have had a late '85 1460 since the '98 season. It has 1660 style paint, shields, and front intake with a otherwise 1460 interior. Today I picked up parts at the dealer. I took the parts man out to the lot to point out what I needed. We had to look at a 1460, 1480, and a 1660 to find everything my machine has in it.
