Combines Case IH 2344 combine and 1020 grain head

Justin, you should have the following: On the feeder house the hose ports are in color. white, black, and red. On the header the hoses should have a white washer, a black washer and the last one may not have a washer. One hose on the header is to just lift the real up and down....no second hose for this purpose. The other (Not sure as I sit here) do the following: One will be for forth and aft to move the reel forward to lift down crop and the other is for your reel speed in RPMs. Any other questions feel free to ask or e-mail. There should be 2 hoses on the feederhouse, when theres no head on the combine the larger of the 2 hoses plugs into the front port, thats the reel speed hose. the center port should have a rubber plug in it, and the rear one has the smaller diameter hose plugged into it. The head should have 3 hoses, one larger diameter and 2 smaller ones. larger one being the reel speed hose. like the other poster said, the hoses are color coded with plastic washers and the ports are color coded and also have stickers with symbols by them, just match up the colors and symbols.

I was also wondering if we needed the electric hooked up. It has a different plug in than whats on our combine. do we need the electricIJ thanks

I think that head was on a deere or something. Did you buy at a case dealer. If you did i would get them to fix it properly. The wire that you can hook up to the combine is for the auto header. thanks for the photos. I hope this will help you. Do you still have crop on the feild. rodney
