Depending on the size of drill the fan requirement to reach higher speeds is different between a 45' and a 33'. I think the 45' requires 15 gpm at 2600 psi and the 33' is 12 gpm at 1800 psi. These are different because the bigger the drill the wider the fan has to be. These numbers are very close but if you need I can get exact numbers for you.
hey there dumbass, the guy was asking about the hydraulic flow rate and other specs, not looking for a flex coil cart. maybe if you people would reply to what a person asks about, the website wont be so cluttered with sh!t all the time.
How many Hp do you need to pull a 45 foot 8500 air drillIJ Are these air drills accurate when it comes to plantingIJ Planting soybeans, does it work goodIJ
You need roughly 240hp-280hp to pull it; depending on your land type(flat or hilly land). As for planting soybeans I don't know because I'm in Canada and we don't grow them. The machine itself is very accurate and seeds good; but its a light drill and doesn't go into the ground good if your soil is dry and hard.
I'm from Manitoba and soybean production doubles every year. I've been growing Soys for the past 6 years and I think they are the most profitable crop to grow. In regards to the air drill, we have flat clay soils. Hope to try one out this spring. Thanks for the reply.
