There is a SPEED lIMIT in force at the shows. Just some people chose to ignore it this year. This limit is to keep farmers from being run over. The R72 was quite capable of running much harder in stock form.

if any of you are going to make a decision on buying a combine from the demonstation from a farm show you either have too much money or you really are a crazy farmer. most all of the corn planted at those shows is a pain in the a** to get off the cob. i have worked at husker harvest for the past 5 yrs and the difference in the corn from one end of the field to the next makes it near impossible to set a combine for the max performance. also we run into mother nature not getting it as dry as need be. just my well educated opinion
