Turning Quadtrac wins. Reliablity Cat wins. Tracks are better made idler roller bearings and bogie bearing give no trouble on the Cat were's on the Quadtrac had lots of trouble here and its not just me, every Quadtrac I now has had some trouble starting at about 600hrs. Case have spent a lot money trying to fix this problem. Don't get me wrong Quadtracs will be the way to go once they fix it, or if you can kept a close eye on these bearings. Just so you know I do like red have 7240, 2388, STXQuad375HD and Cat85E.

Depends on how much truning on hard surfaces you will do, but generally about the same as you will get out of a set of tries. Here I would expect to get about 7000hrs, thats on soft sandy soils.I had a Cat 65 and done 11000Hrs on it and change the tracks at 8000hrs. All the best
