Combines CB hook up

To not interfer with other electronics you need to have a good ground for your CB. That can be the auxiliary plug in, where you get the power from. If your combine is to old to have that, find the place where the cab is grounded to the frame. Second, your coax cable to the antenna needs to be free of damage. Do not run it parallel with any other electronic control cable. Do not change the length of your coax. The factory length is specified for a certain frequency. The best place for the antenna is high up. If you have bin extensions, the antenna needs to be above those for best results. If you mount it on a plastic roof, make sure your antenna is a "non ground plain". CB's are often made for that. But for other two way radios there are different antennas for different applications available.
