Hey, slims, would you please look at where and how many reverse bars are on the CDF's you just receivedIJ Am curious where they were located on the rotor. Thanks.

From this, from sections one to four, right to left, you have one in the right section, one in the second section, none in the third section, and two in the fourth section. Is this rightIJ I have now seen three ways they have been arranged - Seems Gleaner did not have a final design on this before releasing the new rotor. Part of the reason that conventional combines damage grain more is that the rasp bars have every bar rasp the opposite of the previous one, and on the thresher on the Gleaner they should not throw in these reverses if we want best quality grain, and want to get the material off the thresher before re-threshing it. Improving wear pattern of the bars is not a viable reason to me to put these reverse bars on the thresher. I have a dealer inquiring to Gleaner where they Really want them and why. Have not heard back from Gleaner yet.

I took this configuration right off of a service bulletin. all it said for reasoning was that it somehow works better this way. we had three cdf's out last fall and all three ran this way w_out any problems

We have gotten some of the rotors we ordered too, but I think all of ours have been spoken for lately. We just got a couple of new 75s in, one sold, one available, with the AGCO motor on them. Kinda looks small in there, but its supposed to have more power than the Cummins. They also have the new Fieldstar screen, which looks like a big version of the Datatronics 3 scree, for those of you familiar with the new tractors. Not a lot of other differences, besides the hyd rotary screen, that I found so far, but I am just the parts guy.
