If your no-tilling behind soybeans I would question if you need one. We run 62's and a 52 with 20' and 25' heads and if you almost max out the air you can really do a nice job. If your machine doesn't have a chopper I would put one on, it does a number on the stems and next sping when you plant the trash wheels work better. my thoughts, Mike

Try extending the fins on your current chaff spreader. I bolted on a piece of heavy tin to the oem fins that extended 2 inches lower and about 10 - 12 inches longer than the oem fins. You can then bend the new extended fins and chaff will blow into the uncut crop with a 25 foot head

All--need to. Outside left needs to be shorter because of the belting around the spreader.

How high do you run the spreader boardIJ It looks like it should be somewhere between the bottom 2 notches. Can you make a gap in that belting to allow some chaff through without straw spreading onto the sievesIJ

Check out the fin kit you can get. Works reasonably well and will give you 22'-24' of spread. And priced well without sucking your hydraulics.Follow the link and go to the specials page.

Can't get it to show me the picture. Is it aftermarketIJ Can other dealers get itIJ I'll try again later to see if I can get the picture to come up. This would help even if I extend the ones I have.
