Thanks, Tom. When do you get time to do this stuffIJ We started soys yesterday and were they tough. Maybe today will be better.

I'm practicing to be a Minnesota cash crop farmer! lOl!! Actually, it's monsoon season in Wisconsin. We cut 45 acres of early beans two weeks ago and haven't had a single day of weather dry enough to do any more. Corn is a bit too wet yet for high moisture. So we're sitting. The next week doesn't look much more promising either according to the "Weather Eye Weather Guy"! Every acre of beans in this county is ready to be cut if it ever dries out. Will be long lines at the co-op.

Could you just cut the linkage and weld it back together so that the front was open a quarter of an inch moreIJ Then another adjustment rod wouldn't be needed.

I wondered about doing that same thing. Even wondered about hooking the two sections together with a turnbuckle so it could be adjusted if needed. The Gleaner Gurus said I wouldn't regret it if I added a third control handle - so I did! I trust these guys to have tried just about every alternative and know what works and what doesn't. Take care- Tom langan
