Combines Chaffer Sieve

1666man, Have had the same problem with OEM chaffers. I'm assuming you have a straw chopper. Drop the bottom pan (four 3_8 bolts, slotted holes)and set the concave at the next to bottom hole. This will keep the cobs from bouncing back and hitting the sieve.

make sure your chopper is in low speed for corn, otherwise the back foot of the chaffer gets bashed up.

Did the adjustment lever move when it opened upIJ Put a new bolt in and retighten. Take the chaffer out of the combine and check it for cracks, maybe it's broke and coming apart.
