Save your money and go for the aftermarket unit. Making a chaff spreader is not brain surgery, and there are not many expensive parts in one of the things.

Go to Harvestaire.com , they market the Crary cyclone chaff spreader in Australia. They list in U.S. for about $1100 for a single spinner and $1500 for a double.

Although the genuine is very expensive, thanks to that fabulous aussie dollar, the genuine spreader does work pretty well. We have one on our machine and it doesn't matter how much material is in the machine when you pull up, you don't end up with that unsightly pile of chaff at the back of your axle. This is probably stating the obvious, but have you tried Neils_Header world for second hand genuine onesIJ
