One of our consumer organisations here in Oz tested all the proprietary anti corrosion _ nut loosening type products. Diesel fuel came out as good as the best of them for loosening seized, rusted or corroded parts. In actual working conditions on ag machinery, commercial chain lubes of all types, are mediocre at the best, despite the manufacturers claims. We spent a lot of money and a few years on chain lubes, before we found a product from a very small company that gave about 3 times the lube and chain life of any others. Sadly, I think the company is now out of business and the product no longer available.

Chains are cheap, sprockets are high. Just buy a roll of chain and change all of them. The AGCO chain lube works about as well as the rest. Cant stand Deere lube. VSTK

I work in a bike shop besides farm a little and I use Suzuki chain lube. It has a lot of moly in it that lubes well and stays on good. The only thing I don't like it is nasty too remove if sprayed on too heavy.

I agree about the chain lube. Agco's has worked well for me. The Deere lube is a black mess.
