Combines changing belts

look very closely at the walker bearing in this machine the earier serial n's had a rash of trouble with the bearings! you can just amagine what happens when the bearings goes tits up! so does the walker and out comes your check book$$!

I have run one for 7 years, 2500 hours replaced 3 of those belts you are talking about.Not a bad job to do about 1 hour to go right in. Only had to replace them because i was a bit hard on them, blocking the returns in weedy crops and trying to unblock them with the belt slipping. Not the best thing to do.I think they are great machines for the 7yrs the parts bill ave was $3000nz _year, (aprox $1000-$1500 US)Our old Massy 860 ave $10,000 NZ_year. Harvest 800 ha per year aprox 3500 tonnes of wheat,sunflower,canary seed and barley.
