Yes, it's done using the four buttons on that readout, (can't thing of the proper name for it off the top of my head) The data centre can also be converted to metric as well if you have it. For some twisted reason it goes French or something when you do it. The readout is correct in Ha and tonnes, but the any words are all in a different language. Obviously JD hasn't worked out that the US are the only useless buggers in the english speaking world that haven't worked out that it's much easier to to divide_multiply by 10 rather then 12 or 16. 
It's all in the technical manual, best bet is to go to your friendly JD agent and buy the CD with all the manuals on it for the 9600_9500_9400_CTS at a fraction of the price of the hardcopy books.
