The flighting comes out the bottom after takeing the tailing elevator off. Just watch the timming between the virticle and horizontal augers when going back together. Deere has a heavy duty edible bean virticle auger.

YES!!!!!!!! Watch out for the timing!!!! It is important, you will blow your elbow gearbox pretty quick if get the timing wrong! The book shows it pretty good! If ya are not sure call the JD combine specialist! We run 3 9600's all have been replaced. Go ahead and replace bearings in lower charge housing when your in there. And u do have to take off the tailing elevator, looks bad but no big deal. Just be sure to time it right! And ya should have some strong men to put your charge housing back up in the hole and a couple of good aligning punches for when ya get it close! We put in the heavy augers every time.
