Combines charge for custom cutting

Around here the going rate for a combine is 110$ an hour with the crop owner picking up the fuel. I'm not sure what they charge for trucks though. Dean

The most enjoyable form of custom cutting is to do it free of charge, because you can usually count on them to return the favor some other time, like if they finish up first and then come help you cut the last field before a big rainstorm. After all, you call this guy a "neighbor", don't youIJ I'm not saying you should go cut a thousand acres for no charge, but maybe 60.
