I would say if the price is deffinatly right go for it. We had 2 915's what we run for 23 yrs granted they were oldies but they both ran all day long and done a perfect job. They were actually a heck of a combine in their day, I think you will find that the 915 will impress you if you put it in the same field as the 7720. As for manuals I just so happen to have some laying around along with a whole shelf of new parts...

Californiaguy, Speaking as custom harvester I'm going to tell you to forget the 915 how ever cheap it is and stay with the custom harvester. He probably gets your 500 acres cut in a day or two and it may take you and your hired man 10 days to two weeks to do it if your lucky. Why buy trouble like break downs, lost time, and not getting the crop in on time when you can get it custom harvested! K.A.
