Combines Cheap Masseys

You should do what my neighbor did, and wreck two to keep one working. He has 850's, and to keep busy 2 winters ago he completely dismantled 3 850's for parts. When you walk into his shed, he has a better stocked parts department than most any Massey dealer, and the parts are immediately available for install since they're already disassembled, checked and labelled.

You need to get out of your bedroom and maybe step outside the house once in a while or at least once every 20 yrs.

I thought about that but I don't think I would have enough shop room. Maybe your neighbor should start a business. There are plenty over here for parting out.

He thought about starting a business but declined when he recalled the reason "why" he originally dismantled the combines; - HE needed the parts. He does (occasionally) help someone out, though. His parts room is basically two (2) 40' highway trailers mounted on concrete piers and welded_braced together.

I imagine that he does need the parts. If you don't have to use the combine that would be a good business to go into.
