We have a 94 model and one thing you might want to check is the main clutch shaft bearings. The newer machines have a bigger bearing. We changed ours over this year to the larger bearing. We had the bearing go out once a 750 hrs. We replaced with the same bearing since they didn't have the larger one available at the time. If this bearing is original I would see if you could get that done before you buy it. If you have any more questions just let me know. Its a good machine once you get some of these things updated.
