Well I believe you are on of the first to try this. If you have the Field Tracker setup on your corn head you are in pretty good shape. Those PTO shafts really would help you out. Good luck and I hope you keep us posted on you progress. Merry Christmas, Brian

My head does have the telescoping field tracker drive shafts but if I have to move the drive sprockets out, I think they'll need to be longer.

We adapted our 1083 to fit a 9610. It works great. We didn't have to notch the header braces on ours. We did notch part of the adaptor plate to get more clearance for the feeder chain. No big deal though.

Where did you buy the adapter plate or did you make it yourselfIJ

It is a bish adaptor. We got it from Harv's Farm Supply.

Wouldn't be nice if at least the feederhouse picture frame opening dimensions and the drive shaft configurations were the same for all combines some day in the future. That is phase 2 and 3 of (seven total categories) the CHIS = Combine Header Interface Standardization proposal. Your support of this _ CHIS through your farm organizations, dealers and combine suppliers would help us make this a reality sooner rather than later.
